Data Governance Vice President

A company is looking for an Associate Vice President of Data Governance to support the development and oversight of the organization's data governance strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Support the execution of the enterprise data governance strategy in alignment with organizational goals

Maintain and enhance data governance frameworks, standards, and best practices for data management and compliance

Oversee data quality initiatives and collaborate with IT, legal, and compliance teams to ensure alignment with regulations

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's or MBA preferred

12+ years of experience in data governance or related fields

Proven experience in developing and executing data governance strategies in large organizations

Experience with regulatory compliance and data protection laws such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA

Strong understanding of data management principles and tools
