Job Summary

The Data Analyst for the MDM Replacement Project will be the crucial link between technical data migration and business impact. You will be responsible for conducting an in-depth, side-by-side analysis of data from our legacy MDM system and our new platform. Your primary objective is to identify, quantify, and articulate the differences between the two datasets, and then collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze the potential impact on downstream processes, reporting, and operations. This role requires a unique blend of strong technical data skills and the ability to translate complex findings into clear, actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Reconciliation :

Develop and execute complex SQL queries to extract, profile, and compare large datasets from both the legacy and new MDM systems.

Categorize and document all identified data differences (e.g., data quality issues, transformation logic changes, missing data, new enrichments).

Collaborate closely with business analysts, data stewards, and subject matter experts from various departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain) to review the identified data differences.

Support the Data Migration team by providing feedback on data quality and transformation logic.
