Nuclear Operations Director
The Nuclear & Precision Health Solutions division is committed to improving the lives of patients by applying roughly 50 years of experience and expertise in nuclear and precision health. The business provides radiopharmaceutical development, manufacturing, preparation, market access, and business solutions across the care delivery continuum from origin to patient administration. As the only national source for both SPECT and PET radiopharmaceuticals with the largest network of 130 pharmacies and 30 cyclotron facilities, we can reach 95% of U.S. hospitals within three hours. We give customers the support they need in regulatory compliance, reimbursement, continuing education, information management and other crucial areas, so they can focus on their patients.
Logistics plans, controls and implements processes for the storage and movement of finished goods and materials to drive operational efficiency in the organization's supply chain. This job family develops strategies for the use of internal transportation capabilities versus third party logistics services. Logistics tracks all movement of product throughout each step in the supply chain, proactively identifies logistical risks, and addresses logistical issues to ensure on-time fulfillment of customer commitments.
Position Overview
The Director, Nuclear Operations will lead the design, implementation, and operational launch for onboarding innovators into Nuclear & Precision Health Solutions final mile logistics offering. This strategic role will establish a scalable, high performance delivery network tailored for precision medicine distribution, ensuring reliability, compliance, and communications across all time critical shipments. Reporting into operations, this leader will serve as the single point of accountability for end-to-end execution of final mile activities, including operational readiness, technology integration, and partner enablement.
Responsibilities
Program Ownership : Oversee the nationwide launch and ongoing performance of the final mile logistics program.
Partner Management : Lead the relationship with innovators and other strategic partners, ensuring operational alignment, SLAs, and continuous improvement.
Site Setup and Readiness : Manage site onboarding, infrastructure readiness, IT, and telematics systems.
IT & Systems Integration : Partner with internal / external IT vendors to define and implement control tower systems, dashboards, exception management tools / systems, and real-time tracking.
Customer Support Oversight : Point of contact for customers with regular customer meetings. Manage the operations call center, including escalation protocols, performance metrics, and continuous improvement cycles. This could be overseas.
Sales Support : Collaborate with business development in strategy alignment, support of the sales cycle, and present operational capabilities to partners.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
12+ years of experience in operations, logistics and customer facing roles preferred
Healthcare logistics experience highly preferred
Project management experience preferred
Experience leading a team directly or indirectly, or experience building logistics programs
Strong presentation and communication skills
Ability to travel ~25% or as needed

$137,300- $211,200
