Club Manager
Responsible for oversight of gym operations to ensure positive member experience and a financially successful club. Essential duties and responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising team members; providing member service oversight; high involvement in all front desk related tasks; providing support for team members and club members; creating and maintaining a positive image for the club; coaching and counseling performance; ensuring prompt opening / closing of gym; ensuring staff are aware and trained on all current marketing promotions; finishing manager portion of onboarding for all new hires; ensuring the club is open and staffed during all hours of business; ensuring self and team members are implementing and adhering to all company policies and procedures; and responsible for ordering supplies and tracking inventory. Essential behavior requirements include customer service, listening, problem solving, diplomacy, and communication. Minimum qualifications include honesty and good work ethic, at least 1 year of equivalent managerial experience, strong customer service skills, strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, and basic computer proficiency. Physical demands include standing and walking at least 75% of the shift, talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift, and must be able to lift to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time.
