Landscape Designer / Project Manager

ABOUT THE COMPANY : Telluric Landscapes is a Landscape Design and Construction Company focusing on high-end residential and estate properties. We work with clients from concept drawings through final construction. We are passionate about design and we love building our own designs. We are a dynamic fast-paced team looking for an experienced, sharp, self-motivated individual. JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES : DESIGN WORK : Design & Draft in VectorWorks / 3D Rendering Take on site measurements Draft site plan from a survey and onsite measurements & elevations Develop schematic designs in collaboration with design team Meet with clients to discuss and present plan Design & draft irrigation, lighting, utility, drainage and grading plans Design and draft construction details of landscape features Permitting - Prepare and submit required documents to city and county agencies PROJECT MANAGEMENT : Attend weekly site meetings, take meeting notes and follow up on action items Coordinate with subs, architects and GCs Select and pick up plant material / Plant layout Pick up samples and order materials Create, organize and track client files (digital and paper) Read construction plans to determine material takeoffs for budgeting Price out materials and draft up budgets REQUIRED SKILLS : High proficiency with Vectorworks drafting software Proficiency in the Google Suite High proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets Solid design and build sensibility & ability to work across disciplines Plant knowledge and understanding of irrigation systems Understand the process of building and construction Must be a good communicator Must be able to quickly understand the workflow of a project and what needs to be done COMPENSATION : Pay $35-$50 / hr & up based on experience & skill set Part time position - if you are the right person will turn into a full-time position with benefits and room to grow into an integral part of the company Flexible work hours with opportunities to work from home SEND RESUME, SAMPLES OF DESIGN WORK and REFERENCES TO : TASHA AT TASHA@TELLURICLANDSCAPES.COM Seniority level Entry level Employment type Part-time Job function Design, Art / Creative, and Information Technology #J-18808-Ljbffr
