Seeking a BC / BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a well‑respected team in Des Moines, Iowa.

Highlights

• Full‑time position
• Join a team of 2 surgeons (growing to 3!), 3 APPs, 2 Office Based RNs, and 4 Perfusionists
• Comprehensive Cardiovascular team includes 20 Cardiologists and 4 Vascular Surgeons
• CVS Co‑management agreement with Iowa’s largest health system
• Established adult general Cardiothoracic Surgery Department with a recognized Structural Heart Program participating in TAVR and MitraClip; Maze procedures and Lead extraction
• Two designated cardiac surgery ORs and access to two hybrid procedural rooms
• Call 1 : 3
• Research opportunities available
• Teaching opportunities with residency program
• Excellent payor mix
• Large referral base within clinic of over 270 multi‑specialty providers in addition to an external referral base that includes 1.3 million
