As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is an armed and driving post, where you will interact with the public and staff, providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.

Monitor for unusual activity and report findings according to site protocols.

Maintain a high level of visibility while on patrol to help deter unwanted incidents.

Interact with visitors, staff, and / or contractors in a professional manner while enforcing access control procedures.

Complete detailed and accurate reports related to security-related incidents and daily activities.

Follow all Allied Universal and client-specific protocols regarding the handling and use of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements :

Must possess an armed guard card or license.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
