Material Handler

Position : Material handler

Location : Maynard

Duration : 3 to 6 months (Temp to perm)

Pay range : $22 - 24 / hr

Shift : Friday through Sunday 6 : 00pm – 6 : 30am.

Business needs may necessitate the need to adjust shift start and end times and days.

Responsibilities :

• Ensures safety awareness and adherence to all safety policies to minimize safety risks. By reporting any safety incidents, hazards, and equipment malfunctions promptly to management.
• Complete all assigned QMS training and keep up to date before performing a task.
• Operate systems and office equipment such as computers, software, and printers as trained and specified.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, manual and electric pallet jacks for pallet movement.
• Receive, inspect, and verify the contents of incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure accuracy.
• Inspect shipments for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues.
• Accurately log inventory data into the ERP System (SAP).
• Organize and store items in the designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and identification.
• Assist other departments with warehouse needs. Including Staging materials for Quality Inspection and completing raw material orders from other departments. This includes orders made using Kanban Cards, email and Teams.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse to ensure operational efficiency.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
