The Department of Neurology at the University of Missouri - Columbia is seeking a full-time non-interventional Vascular Neurologist to join our vibrant and growing Comprehensive Stroke Center.

Join one dedicated vascular neurologist, two world-renowned combined vascular and endovascular neurologists, and two vascular neurosurgeons, as we expand our clinical offerings and research opportunities. Build a telestroke program and explore the opportunity to become the Medical Director of TeleNeurology or the Comprehensive Stroke Center. Be a part of the Vascular Neurology Fellowship as well as the Endovascular Neuroscience Fellowship. Clinical and some didactic teaching is expected.

Opportunity Details :

• Join a department of 30+ physicians and neuroscientists
• Join vascular team of a vascular neurologist, two vascular and endovascular neurologists and two vascular neurosurgeons
• Neuroscience ICU staffed with dedicated Neurointensivist and a team of APP's and residents
• Strong collaborations with Neurosurgery, Physiatry, Radiology and Anesthesia
• Robust Quality Improvement infrastructure i
• Participant in national StrokeNet program
• Opportunities to assist in the department's growth, the education of medical students and residents, and pursuit of other academic / research interests.
• Inpatient service and night call in equal rotation with the vascular neurology group
• Outpatient Practice Schedule M-F 8 AM-5 PM when not covering the inpatient service, manage flexibility with time for rest
• Medical Director opportunities will be available
• All ranks available commensurate with experience

In addition to clinical opportunities, NextGen Precision Health , MU Center for Translational Neuroscience and Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory offers a vast array of academic and research opportunities.
