UI performance, influence architecture, and see your work used worldwide.

About the Team

We're the Zoom Client team building Whiteboard's core frontend, delivering real-time, high-performance

collaboration with Canvas and WebGL.

Responsibilities

Designing and building real-time whiteboard features with React or Vue.

Optimizing Canvas and WebGL rendering for smooth, low-latency drawing and interaction.

Profiling and improving performance and memory across browsers and devices.

Collaborating with designers, backend engineers, and QA to deliver polished, accessible experiences.

Evolving frontend architecture and tooling to scale reliability and speed.

Instrumenting analytics and experiments to guide product decisions and quality.

Reviewing code and mentoring teammates to raise the technical bar.

What we're looking for

Bring strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills with a modern framework like React or Vue, a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 4+ years in frontend development.

Write high-quality, well-tested UI code and reusable components.

Optimize graphics-heavy UIs using Canvas or WebGL, or learn quickly with guidance.

Ship end-to-end features for real-time or collaborative web apps.

Partner closely with Design, Backend, and QA to align on outcomes.

Communicate clearly in code reviews and async docs.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings :

Minimum :

$98.900,00

Maximum : $228.700,00

In addition to the base salary and / or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note : Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
