Certified Senior Medical Coder

A company is looking for a Senior Medical Coder (Facility). Key Responsibilities Review and evaluate clinical and demographic information for accurate code selection and claim information Investigate and resolve coding-related system edits, rejections, and insurance denials Provide training support and guidance on complex account escalations Required Qualifications Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or similar certification required Minimum of three years of medical coding experience, facility experience preferred Understanding of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, HCPCS coding compliance guidelines Ability to work independently and support a high-performing team High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
