Position Product Manager

Location Northville, MI

Full Time.

we need an experienced Product Manager to lead our lab function.

Role Overview :

Senior, higher-comp position owning product development in the personal care and household categories. The hire must bring a strong laboratory background and be able to independently run physicochemical and performance testing while driving products from concept to launch in partnership with R&D, production, and quality.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead product development from concept through commercialization.
  • Independently run physicochemical tests (pH, viscosity, stability, active content).
  • Conduct performance evaluations for personal care and household products.
  • Partner with third-party labs and factory chemists to meet spec, quality, and performance targets.
  • Analyze results and recommend formulation improvements.
  • Track industry trends and competitors to inform innovation.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or related field.
  • More than 3+ years in a daily chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on lab expertise in physicochemical and performance testing.
  • Working knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
