Akkodis is seeking a Senior Contract Specialist for a 6+ months contract with a client located in Phoenix AZ
Pay Range : $60 / hr. - $65 / hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)
Summary :
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the preparation, negotiation, and administration of commercial contracts. This role ensures compliance with company policies and legal standards while providing strategic guidance on complex contractual matters.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead deal reviews and negotiate contract terms, pricing, and conditions.
Draft, review, and manage commercial contracts in alignment with corporate policies and legal requirements.
Provide expert guidance on complex or high-risk contracts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, finance, and sales to ensure contract accuracy and alignment.
Mentor and direct junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to contract strategy development.
Qualification :
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or certification in contract management is a plus.
6-8 years of experience in contract negotiation and administration, preferably in a corporate or legal setting.
Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms, and risk management.
Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities with sound judgment and attention to detail.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Creative problem-solver with a high degree of autonomy and initiative.
