Job description

ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

RN Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity : RN - ED

Job Details :

  • Work 12-hour night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week (3x12 schedule)
  • 2+ years of nursing experience required
  • Required certifications : Current Arkansas State Board of Nursing licensure, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, CPEN
  • No call requirements or float requirements
  • Work with EPIC EMR system
  • Dress code requires black scrubs
  • Assess patients and plan and evaluate their care
  • Educate patients and families as needed
  • Utilize appropriate resources to optimize patient care and patient flow
  • Follow pain assessment policy and assist with pain management
  • Participate in patient safety / risk management program and Quality Improvement initiatives
  • Specialty focus in critical care within emergency department setting
