Job descriptionUse of required personal protective equipment. Operation and use of necessary tools or equipment. Extended periods of standing, and other physically demanding conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the individual is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Class A CDL Good customer service & teamwork skills Good physical condition; must be able to get in and out of trucks several times per day Able to work in all types of environments, including inclement weather Good backing skills Recent verifiable, driving experience or related Current DOT medical card No DUI / DWI, Careless / Reckless driving citations or revoked / suspended license in the past 5 years No more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years MVR required for interview (current, dated within 30 days of application) Prior to employment, able to pass a complete DOT physical, drug screen, criminal background check and road test Available for any shift and weekends as needed Able to lift 55 pounds. Work jobs that have repetitive motion. Follow safe work practices and rules. Able to prove they have a right to work in the United States. Successfully pass a physician's examination, drug screen and background check. Willing to have a baseline audiometric test Prefer high school graduates or GEDs Sufficient work experience to be successful on the job
Job Title
Responsibilities :
- Move loads around the truck yard.
- Ability to back up trailers to dock doors, often with other trailers on either side of the dock
- Verify loads for accuracy
- Ensure trailer is in quality working condition prior to relocating
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicle.
- Ensure load matches paperwork before leaving all sites.
- Safe and legal operation of a commercial vehicle.
- Various other duties and tasks as assigned.

The range is $24.50-$25.11 per hour. Exact pay offered will depend on candidate's experience, work location, skills, etc.
