We have an exciting opportunity for an intern to work closely with the Community Impact Team to assist in the implementation of a sustainable culture of health within the vulnerable communities in Greater New Orleans Market. Individuals will obtain practical experience and receive hands-on training in various disciplines particularly regarding our organizational priority Nation of Lifesavers.

The American Heart Associations Internship Program provides college students an opportunity for hands-on experience in various facets for individuals interested in gaining work experience with a non-profit voluntary health organization.

The Association offers many resources to help you maintain work-life harmonization through your changing needs and life situations. Internship Overview :

• Time Commitment : 20-25 hours per week
• Internship Duration : 1 / 26 / 26 5 / 1 / 26
• Location : Hybrid Position - Intern must be based in New Orleans LA or the immediate surrounding area.
• Salary : $23 per hour
