Responsible for performing order quality control activities including validating orders against pick list, validating dates on merchandise to comply with member requirements, communicating findings daily to fulfillment manager for proper follow-up, and verifying merchandise according to priority of shipment.

Major tasks, responsibilities, and key accountabilities include :

• Ensuring tools and supplies are readily available to perform daily tasks.
• Assisting order forklift driver with orders, verifying and checking orders as it is being pulled and placed on pallets.
• Prioritizing orders to be reviewed and validated based on the loading schedule and level of difficulty.
• Ensuring quality control process and pallet checks are performed under CCTV cameras and taking pictures as needed to validate process.
• Ensuring the layout of the pallet is stable and free of any damages, spills, or cross-contamination of food and / or chemical items.
• Ensuring full pallets, personal health items, chemicals, clothing, ricamar orders and consolidated orders are fully verified.
• Validating the date codes on all food items and ensuring merchandise is not expired and is within the specified dates parameters of the member order.
• Communicating daily with the fulfillment manager to follow-up with corrective action as needed.
• Submitting a weekly recap report to the fulfillment manager on all findings for the week.
• Ensuring all findings are keyed in the computer on the quality control finding report log, printing report daily, and giving to the fulfillment manager for follow-up.
• Maintaining all club policies and procedures.
• Performing other duties as assigned and working in other departments as needed.

In accordance with the pay transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ's Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $16.75 - $20.10.
