Nurse Manager, Labor and Delivery- Days 8am-4 : 30pm

The Labor and Delivery Unit offers obstetrics and gynecology care, as well as pediatrics, breast health and educational classes for new and expecting mothers. The L&D unit features two HOPE Suite rooms geared toward natural births and include a laboring tub, Bluetooth monitoring system, birthing balls, and birthing swing.

This position assumes the leadership role of care within Labor and Delivery. This position may require working under stressful conditions and irregular hours. Oversees the day-to-day operations of the patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit, to include accountability for quality patient care, nursing staff performance and evaluation, and staff development. Promotes collaborative practice with other departments, physicians, and schools of nursing, and exhibits the ability to work with others, to find solutions to difficult technical or administrative
