Position Overview : Woolpert is hiring a Marketing Manager to join our dynamic Marketing and support our Geospatial Sector. This position reports to the Marketing Director and is responsible for the development, implementation, and strategic execution of the marketing plan for the market(s) they are assigned. The Senior Marketing Manager will lead strategic marketing initiatives for geospatial services and technologies, driving brand awareness, market penetration, and supporting revenue growth. This role combines leadership, market analysis, and campaign execution to position the company as a leader in geospatial solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated marketing strategies that resonate with target audiences in various industries.
What You Will Do :
- Strategic Marketing : Create and execute strategic marketing plans for geospatial services and technologies, working collaboratively with Leadership, Sector Leads, and Market Directors.
- Manage conferences, sponsorships, customer events, association involvement, public relations, internal communications, awards, collateral materials, webinars, advertising campaigns, videos, client interviews and meetings, e-mail campaigns, social media, and demonstrations.
- Collaborate with sales to develop and implement marketing strategy for client capture strategies and client development activities.
- Identify and develop cross-sector opportunities to integrate geospatial marketing strategies to drive sales.
- Demonstrate leadership in advancing Woolpert in the marketplace.
- Build and maintain relationships with geospatial industry associations including SAME, USGIF, OGC, WGIC, MAPPS, and NSGIC.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging opportunities.
Marketing Communications :
Manage brand to company standards.Develop and manage communications tactics for all physical and digital forms of media. Bring forward best practices to assist teams in execution of tactics.Develop and share innovative tactics to help move the market, sector, and firm forward.Support :
Develop and manage marketing budget for the geospatial sector.Attend and support newer marketing managers in the attendance of national and regional conferences, tracking trade show ROI.Participate on association boards and committees to maintain market relevance.Work collaboratively with other marketing managers and the Proposals, Creative, Government Affairs, and Sales teams to consistently lead firmwide initiatives and processes.What You Will Bring :
Must have a BA / BS and ten (10) years of related professional work experience.Experience in B2B marketing for technology or professional services.Deep understanding of federal agency market dynamics and procurement processes.Proven experience in geospatial technologies or related industries.Established network within geospatial industry associations or partner organizations desired.Strong skills in digital marketing, analytics, and marketing automation tools.Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
