Opportunity : RN - OR Job Details : Work in a 12-room operating room facility on the 1st floor Must have open heart experience - candidates without heart experience will be excluded from heart room assignments Work with 38 RNs and 12 benefited techs in a collaborative team environment Day shift includes 16 benefited RNs and 6-7 OR techs, with 4 mid-shift teams and 1 evening team Perform various procedures including neuro, spine, total joint, gastric sleeves, major general surgery, ENT, pediatric, urology, and heart procedures (CABG and valves) Work with perioperative equipment and Meditech EMR system May float to pre-op as needed Participate in call rotation with staff (call schedule discussed during interview) Hospital-provided scrubs required Must maintain flexible, team-oriented approach Complete orientation to facility policies on site Required certifications : California RN license, BLS CNOR certification preferred Experience in robotics, orthopedics, eye, GYN, ENT, plastics, thoracic, and general surgery preferred Facility : This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive surgical services department with 12 operating rooms providing a full range of surgical specialties.
