About the Role

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for IA Systems, Operations, and Administration. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong background in technology management, particularly in the area of CRM systems. This role is pivotal in providing oversight and direction for the Division's technology strategy, gift administration, data management, and budget and operations functions. The AVP will be responsible for collaborating with the Information Technology Services team to develop and execute a technology vision that supports the Division's goals, including an upcoming ambitious campaign. Key responsibilities include leading the use of technology systems, managing data and gift administration functions, and overseeing budget and operations management. The ideal candidate will have a B.A. / B.S. degree (M.A. / M.S. preferred), at least 12 years of technology management experience, and a deep understanding of fundraising operations and higher education. Applicants for the Assistant Vice President position at the company should have a proven track record in developing and implementing technology strategies aligned with organizational objectives. The role requires a leader with excellent organizational, relationship-building, and communication skills, who can effectively manage change and support user adoption of new technologies. A strong proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, and experience in managing budgets and personnel are essential. The AVP will also be responsible for the management and development of staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
