Job descriptionWeekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable) Provide hospital-based gastroenterology care Perform 3-4 outpatient procedures per day, along with inpatient procedures and consults Participate in 24-hour call coverage Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible within 3 years of Residency Active IA License or IMLC ACLS certification COVID-19 vaccination Clean malpractice and background strongly preferred 24-hour call from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 AM Proficient in ERCP; EUS highly preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a hospital setting
Job Description
A reputable hospital in Des Moines, Iowa, is seeking a Gastroenterologist for an exciting Locum to Permanent opportunity. The role focuses on inpatient care, requiring proficiency in ERCP and preferably EUS, with the expectation to perform outpatient and inpatient procedures. The assignment begins in October 2025 and involves 24-hour call shifts.
