Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support a K-12 educational setting in Hickory, NC. This contract position spans approximately 13 weeks, beginning immediately and ending mid-January. The role requires 15-20 hours per week, typically 2 to 2.5 hours daily, focusing on delivering high-quality speech therapy services.

Responsibilities include managing a diverse caseload consisting of 10 preschoolers, 3 high school students, and 2 middle school students. The cases primarily involve mild to moderate speech and language challenges. Services will be provided through teletherapy, allowing for flexibility and accessibility, as virtual candidates are wele.

Key qualifications and experience sought :

• Valid Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience in school-based and pediatric settings
• petence in teletherapy delivery methods
• pletion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
• Familiarity with cerebrovascular disorders (optional)
• Strong skills in working with a variety of student age groups, from preschool through high school

Candidates should be fully licensed and prepared to work independently with minimal supervision. This position does not allow Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
