Key Responsibilities of an Accounting Associate

Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, vendor statement reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution.

Serve as a primary point of contact for vendor communications, including coordinating supplies for multiple library branches and community initiatives.

Accurately process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring compliance with policies related to sick leave, FMLA, and other payroll considerations.

Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure financial records are timely, accurate, and audit-ready.

Maintain organized documentation for all financial transactions.

Qualifications of an Accounting Associate

Minimum of two (2) years of experience working as an

Accounting Associate

or in a similar accounting role.

Demonstrated proficiency in accounts payable and payroll processing.

Prior experience with the Tyler ERP system is preferred.
