About Our Unit :
Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit where you will provide care for a diverse patient population, including :
Post-operative patients from craniotomies, AVMs, and tumor resections.Patients recovering from cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Individuals experiencing hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes as part of the Comprehensive Stroke Program .High volumes of cervical and spinal surgery patients alongside medical overflow cases.As part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) , we provide exposure to the latest neurosurgical techniques and innovative care.

Assess patient needs, plan, implement individualized interventions, and evaluate care effectiveness.Recognize and respond to significant changes in patients' conditions and needs.Implement patient safety strategies and assess readiness to learn.Coordinate discharge planning using an interdisciplinary approach.Contribute to quality / process improvement initiatives.Requirements :
Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.Completion of an accredited nursing program.At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.Skills Needed :
Ability to provide holistic, patient-centered care.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.Confidence in making critical decisions independently.Physical Requirements :
