About the Role
The Associate Vice President, Core Analytics will be responsible for leading the development and execution of analytical frameworks and models that drive insights across the business. You will collaborate with stakeholders (e.g. portfolio, risk, product teams) to define metrics, design experiments, and develop predictive models to support decision-making. You will oversee end-to-end analytics workflows, such as data acquisition, cleansing, feature engineering, model building, validation, deployment, and monitoring. You will translate complex quantitative outputs into clear, actionable insights and dashboards for senior leadership. In addition, you will mentor and manage analytics staff, drive initiatives to automate processes, and continuously refine modeling methodologies and best practices.
Applicants should hold a Masters or Bachelors degree in quantitative fields such as data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics or a related discipline. You must have at least 58 years' hands-on experience in advanced analytics or quantitative modeling roles, preferably in financial services, asset management, or risk / portfolio settings. Proficiency in programming and data tools (e.g. Python, R, SQL, Spark) and experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics are essential. You must have strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex analyses to non-technical stakeholders. Leadership experience, such as mentoring junior analysts, setting standards, and overseeing project delivery, is required. A results-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.
