Job description

GHR Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a local contract nursing job in Quakertown, Pennsylvania.

ER RN

Provides rapid assessment, triage, and emergency care for patients experiencing acute or life threatening conditions. Delivers fast paced clinical decision making and immediate interventions across all age groups.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform triage and prioritize care based on patient acuity
  • Provide urgent interventions for trauma, cardiac events, respiratory distress, and other emergencies
  • Administer medications and assist with emergency procedures and diagnostics
  • Monitor patient condition and reassess frequently in a dynamic environment
  • Communicate effectively with providers, patients, and families during high stress situations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient and safe patient flow

    • Requirements :

  • Active state RN license or compact license if applicable
  • Minimum two years of Emergency Room RN experience

    • Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K offered.
