Dialog Cafe is looking for an EXPERIENCED MANAGER for its second location in West LA to join our team who shares the same core values, has a passion for Customer Service, and is able to work in a multi layered, fast paced environment. Our second location shares space with the iconic Equinox Sports Club on Sepulveda Blvd. Must have prior Managerial experience in a Cafe / Restaurant setting. 1835 S. Sepulveda Blvd Los Angeles CA 90025
This is a Salary position. Must be able to work a minimum of 45 hours per week. Starting pay rate range is $70,000 to $75,000 annually, as well as a bonus structure.
The MANAGER is responsible for providing outstanding customer service by leading and motivating their team and developing practices to increase customer satisfaction.
MANAGER tasks include assisting guests and staff, customer service relations, ensuring prompt resolution of guests inquiries, distributing tasks to the staff, and monitoring the employees' performance. The AGM will be in charge of checking specific department inventories and reporting inadequate supplies, identifying business opportunities to increase the company's sales and profitability, and developing strategic procedures to maintain guest satisfaction
Duties and Responsibilities include :
Assisting the GM with overseeing staffing responsibilities for FOH department
Helping the restaurant meet service, sales, and profit objectivesEnsuring personal Manager Logs are completed dailyEnsuring Lead Logs are completed dailyBuild on VIP protocols and steps of service specific to VIP guestsOversee daily operations with Upper ManagementDevelop service of procedures, (SOPs), policies and standardsRecruit, mentor and develop customer service agents (FOH employees) and nurture an environment where they can excel towards empowerment and growthAnswers customers questions, resolves issues, and maintains customer satisfaction by providing problem-solving resourcesManages customer service staff, communicates job expectations, and performs one on one reviewsImplements production, productivity, quality, and customer service standardsAudits customer service procedures and trends and determines system improvementsCollaborate with GM on ideas, procedures and solutions to better meet Dialogs standardsSupervising and directing the team on daily work activities. Being nurturing and supportive towards staffMentoring and coaching staff. Ensuring One on One conversations occur to showcase opportunities for growthEnsuring proper training of FOH employeesMaintaining excellent customer and public relations within the community
Ensuring that guests have a positive and memorable experience each and every time they visit
Ensuring proper compliance with cash control procedures, and performs related administrative reports as required
Checks Inventory, order guides and suppliesKeeps a professional demeanor with guests and with employeesTakes responsibility for maintaining a clean, neat and orderly work environment.Inspects Opens / Closes restaurant in accordance with daily checklistsMaintains excellent relationships with current and future customers for potential catering opportunitiesUses deescalation tactics in high pressure environments and scenariosReports to General ManagerCustomer issuesEmployee issuesThird party issuesQualifications and Requirements
