A leading clinical lab is seeking a Medical Technologist with a Hematology focus to join their diagnostic team. This role plays a vital part in the analysis and interpretation of blood-related testing to support accurate diagnoses and timely patient care.

Key Responsibilities :

Receive and analyze hematology specimens according to established protocols

Perform complete blood counts (CBCs), differentials, coagulation studies, and related testing

Produce and report accurate, timely, and precise results

Troubleshoot instruments and assist with maintenance procedures

Identify and correct issues that could impact test performance or result reporting

Collaborate with lab supervisors on workflow, training, inventory, and quality initiatives

Participate in QA / QC programs and documentation

Communicate effectively across lab teams and departments

Qualifications :

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, biological, or clinical science

Valid ASCP or AMT certification required

Minimum 3 years of lab experience preferred (especially in hematology)

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Computer proficiency and comfort with LIS systems
