American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with 2+ years of acute care MRI experience and required ARMRIT or ARRT MR certification.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in an acute care hospital MRI unit covering adult inpatients, ICU, outpatient, and ER / trauma casesWork schedule includes one 12-hour shift and three 8-hour shifts per week, for a total of 36 hoursNight shift hours are typically 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM, with every other weekend rotationWorkload consists of a 1 : 2 technologist to patient ratioFlex scheduling with potential for weekday changes announced up to one month in advanceNo call or floating requiredEMR system is Epic and experience with Epic is requiredDuties include conducting MRI scans for varied adult patient populations in acute care, ICU, outpatient, and ER / trauma environmentsScheduling will be reviewed monthly and changes communicated to staff prior to implementationModules and required training will be completed onsite during orientationReturning staff are eligible if at least one year has passed since previous employment at any related facilityNo travel pairs accepted for this contractLocal candidates are eligible at the same rateNo RTO is permitted during the first week of the contractFlu shot deadlines and compliance will be communicated seasonally\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years MRI technologist experience in adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, and ER / trauma settingsCurrent ARMRIT or ARRT MR certification and BLS are requiredMust have a Michigan license in-hand at the time of consideration (license required if applicable)Epic EMR experience requiredFlu vaccination required with no exemptions permittedTwo manager or supervisor professional references from the past two years are requiredFirst-time travelers are not accepted\n Benefits\n
