Registered Nurse Job Details

Location : Mount Clemens, Michigan (48043) – Macomb County

Healthcare Setting : Float Pool – Telemetry and Med Surg units

Assignment Type : Travel RN job

Start Date : November 24, 2025

End Date : February 23, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (3x12s / week, 36 hours guaranteed)

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Holiday Requirement : Must be available for scheduled holidays

RN Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of recent Registered Nurse experience (Telemetry or Med Surg units preferred)

At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment completed

Active Michigan RN license (LARA and Nursys verification required)

BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred

Paragon EMR experience highly preferred

Skills checklist for RN specialties completed within one year

Ability to float to Telemetry (CSU, 3 South, 4 South) and Med Surg (3 West, 4 West, IPR) units

Strong attendance record (strict 3-strike attendance policy)

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process

Assess physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients

Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans

Perform clinical interventions based on patient needs

Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals

Float between assigned Telemetry and Med Surg units as needed

Maintain professional standards and comply with hospital policies

Ensure patient satisfaction and participate in ongoing professional development
