140,000.00 / yr - $160,000.00 / yr

The President & CEO is a mission-driven leader with executive nonprofit management experience, some experience in public health and health equity, and exceptional skills in fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and community partnership development.

ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

The National Kidney Foundation of Hawai?i (NKFH) is dedicated to the prevention of chronic kidney disease, enhancing patient care, and advancing education and advocacy related to kidney health across Hawai?i. As a nonprofit leader, NKFH works to improve the lives of those impacted by chronic kidney disease by providing resources, promoting awareness, and offering support to individuals and families statewide.

Since its founding, NKFH has been a beacon for individuals living with chronic kidney disease, aiming to improve health outcomes through education, early detection, and innovative care. The foundation partners with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and government entities to address healthcare disparities, particularly for high-risk groups in Hawai?i such as Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders, and other underserved communities.

NKFH's mission is carried out through community outreach, strategic advocacy, fundraising, and partnerships that support critical services, research, and long-term kidney health initiatives. ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The President and CEO of the National Kidney Foundation of Hawai?i (NKFH) will serve as a dynamic and visionary leader, advancing the organization's mission to improve kidney health and prevent chronic disease across the islands. With a strong foundation in community education, early detection, and health equity, the CEO will shape NKFH's strategic direction while expanding its reach and impact. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead one of Hawai?i's most respected nonprofits, overseeing operations, strengthening revenue streams, and championing community-focused partnerships with healthcare providers, government agencies, and donors.

The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of strategic acumen, financial leadership, and a deep commitment to improving community health outcomes. They will be a seasoned executive with a track record of fundraising success, organizational growth, and cross-sector collaboration. With strong communication and relationship-building skills, the CEO will elevate NKFH's public presence and influence, driving forward policies and programs that address the rising burden of chronic kidney disease. Familiarity with Hawai?i's healthcare landscape, a genuine connection to its diverse communities, and an understanding of chronic illness prevention will be vital to success in this highly impactful role.
