Patient Care Assistant (Medical Assistant)

Job Title

Metro Infectious Disease Consultants is seeking a full-time Patient Care Assistant (Medical Assistant) to work at the clinics located in Bloomington, IL + Peoria, IL. The Medical Assistant would be required to travel to both clinics throughout the week.

This Assistant's responsibilities include all duties related to the back-office with occasional front desk duties. Responsibilities assigned to individuals can and will change at any time at the discretion of management or the supervisor.

Back Office Responsibilities :

• Escort patients from reception to exam room, documenting height, weight, blood pressure and temperature as indicated, document patient's chief complaint and notify doctor when patient is ready to be seen
• Stock exam rooms with supplies each morning, clean rooms between patients
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies, completing requisitions (order forms) in a timely manner to ensure supplies are not depleted
• Other tasks as assigned by management
