Job Title : Dental Assistant

General and Family Dental Office in Olney, Maryland has an opening for a full time Dental Assistant who is a dedicated and motivated self starter. The position requires confirming and greeting patients, preparing operatories for procedures, sterilization of instruments, taking inventory and ordering supplies, running errands to the local banks and post office, and other duties as needed.

The successful candidate must be able to use good judgment, be detail oriented, multi-task, plan and prioritize, interact effectively with office staff and the public, work independently and as a team player, and adapt to change. X-ray certification and knowledge of dental terminology and insurance coding is preferred. Dental experience is preferred but we will consider training a well qualified applicant. Continuing education and mentoring for advancement in the dental field will be provided.

We offer competitive salary that is based on education and experience. The position will be for 4-5 days a week. Occasional Saturday hours may be required.
