Description

Position Overview : Responsible for general cleaning and upkeep of cafeterias, all restrooms, locker rooms, laundry room, office area and any other areas as directed by supervisor.

Requirements

Essential Job Functions :

• General cleaning duties : This includes but is not limited to sweeping, mopping, washing, wiping off, hosing down, use of compressed air, vacuuming, and laundry.
• Ability to follow set sanitation procedures, schedules and document accordingly.
• May be required to fill in for other sanitation personnel due to vacations, absences, etc.
• May be required to assist in production whenever requested by supervisor.
• Will be required to be a member of Blood-Bourne Pathogen team.
• Ability to read instructions and follow all safety procedures / MSDS Sheets when working with cleaning chemicals.
• Other duties include; cleaning sinks throughout facility, collecting / dumping garbage from restrooms and offices, restocking soap and paper towel dispensers and weekly cleaning of wash pits.
• Weekly inspection of rodent traps
• Responsible for cleanliness of all areas of the kitchen and disposal of trash.
• Keeps storage shelves and stockrooms clean, organized with items properly stored and rotated when deliveries are made.
