Job descriptionPerform scheduled preventive maintenance on rotary screw, reciprocating, and other types of air compressors. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues. Install new compressor systems and related components (dryers, filters, piping). Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Communicate effectively with customers regarding service issues, recommendations, and solutions. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Travel to customer sites as needed (local / regional). Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service. High school diploma or GED required; technical / vocational training preferred. 2+ years of experience in industrial equipment service, preferably air compressors. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and wiring diagrams. Valid drivers license and clean driving record. Basic computer skills for service documentation and communication. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environments. Experience with brands like Ingersoll Rand, Atlas Copco, Kaeser, Sullair, etc. Familiarity with PLCs and control systems. EPA certification for refrigerant handling (if working with refrigerated dryers). Strong customer service and communication skills. We are dedicated to building an inclusive and equitable workplace.
