The role involves guiding a dedicated team of top-tier providers, including a robust Hospitalist APP service and Critical Care Unit staff. This leadership position will include program development, quality improvement, and strategic collaboration as part of Mercy's leadership team. Responsibilities : - Lead a team of high-performing providers and support staff.- Oversee program development and the advancement of hospital medicine services.- Implement and evaluate quality improvement initiatives.- Serve as a strategic leader within executive leadership team. Candidate Requirements : - Board Certification in Internal or Family Medicine.- Eligible for licensure in Maine.- 7-10 years of clinical experience, with 3-5 years in a leadership role.- Advanced degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration (MPH, MBA, MHA), or related certification preferred.- Strong clinical, managerial, and leadership abilities.
