Seeking a Qualified and Experienced Gastroenterologist for On-Call Coverage

Are you a dedicated and highly skilled Gastroenterologist passionate about providing vital GI care? We're searching for a qualified physician to join our team in a growing community near McClusky, North Dakota. This temporary opportunity offers a flexible start date as soon as possible (ASAP) and extends until the need is filled.

Responsibilities :

• Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for hospitalized patients requiring GI consultation and management.
• Conduct patient consultations, diagnose GI conditions, and develop effective treatment plans.
• Perform a variety of endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies, biopsies, polypectomies, proctoscopies / flexible sigmoidoscopies, hemorrhoidal banding, upper GI endoscopies, PEG tube placements, esophageal variceal banding, banding lesions for acute GI bleeding, and esophageal dilation.
• Highly preferred : Perform endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) procedures.
• Round on hospitalized patients requiring GI care for approximately 8 hours per shift, with flexibility based on patient volume.
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, other physicians, and healthcare professionals within the hospital system.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within the EPIC electronic medical record system.
