Registered Nurse Case Manager

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Case Manager in Morristown, NJ.

Compensation

The pay for this position is $50-$57 per hour .

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.

A 401(k) with a company match is available to full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

Highlights

This position is a contract assignment with potential to convert to permanent employment based on attendance, performance, and business needs.

The required schedule for this position is 8 : 00 a.m. – 4 : 00 p.m. , with possible weekend coverage .

Responsibilities

Coordinate patients throughout the acute care hospitalization process.

Manage all aspects of discharge planning and transition of care to ensure safe and effective continuity.

Perform utilization management and quality screenings to ensure compliance with regulatory and payer requirements.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.

Provide patient and family education on post-discharge care options and resources.

Document all case management activities accurately in accordance with hospital policy and compliance standards.

Requirements

Active RN License (State of NJ preferred).

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.

Inpatient Case Management experience required.

Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience strongly preferred.

Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.

Preferred Qualifications

CCMC (Certified Case Manager) certification preferred.

Experience with managed care and utilization review .

Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.

Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospital environment.
