Overview :

Sentara Health is hiring a MRI Technologist at the Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge.

This is a Flexi, Rotating shift opportunity.

As an MRI Tech you will perform MRI examinations while maintaining safety integrity of MRI operational area for all persons including staff and customers. Maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Explains examination and procedure to patient and completes departmental documentation.

Required :

• One (1) year experience in a Rad Tech position to include Radiologic Tech, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography or Ultrasound preferred.
• Completion of MRI school / MRI certificate program OR Graduate of 24 month program in radiologic technology required in lieu of experience.
• Must obtain ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within 2 years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions).
• CNMT or ARDMS or ARRT or ARMRIT is required

Preferred :

Six (6) months MR experience or completion of MR didactic program
