Speech-Language Pathologist, PRN

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in pediatric patients. You will work closely with children, their families, and educational staff to develop individualized treatment plans that promote effective communication skills. Your expertise in speech therapy will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our young patients.

• Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities in children.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Provide direct speech therapy services to pediatric patients in various settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
• Educate families on strategies to support communication development at home.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes.
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in speech therapy.
• Experience
• Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong background in pediatrics with a focus on early intervention strategies.
• Proficient knowledge of speech therapy techniques and methodologies.
• Familiarity with patient care protocols and medical terminology related to speech disorders.
• Solid understanding of anatomy and physiology as it pertains to speech production.

Pay : $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
