Description
This is an exciting new position as an individual contributor for Subscription Revenue Manager. This position reports directly to the Director, Clear Aligner Revenue Accounting. In this visible role, you will manage the revenue accounting operations and provide key input to cross-functional teams to ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with company policy. The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to thrive in an environment that leverages their revenue accounting knowledge and ERP operational expertise while operating as a key contributor in a cross-functional business environment.
Role expectations
In this role, you will…
- Responsible for the worldwide revenue accounting of the Doctor Subscription Program and other similar programs for the Clear Aligner business segment to ensure accurate and timely reporting of revenue according to US GAAP and company policies
- Work collaboratively with Finance, Business and Accounts Receivable partners to confirm monthly business activity including new enrollments, customer upgrades and special billings
- Manage the monthly revenue close process for the Doctor Subscription Program revenue stream and other similar program revenue streams which includes posting journal entries, GL account reconciliations, revenue fluctuation analyses, and assisting revenue reporting with quarterly metrics reporting
- Key revenue contributor to supporting future business expansion of the Doctor Subscription Program and other similar programs that includes identifying and testing new revenue reporting and SAP system requirements
- Provide required audit schedules and Sox control documentation as requested by external and internal auditors in support of quarterly audit reviews
- Work on other ad hoc projects and requests

Qualifications :
Knowledge of US GAAP and Revenue Accounting ASC 606Expertise in managing revenue accounting processes within a large-scale ERP, preferably SAPStrong business acumen and ability to work independently with cross-functional business teamsDetail-oriented focus and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesStrong to Excellent Excel Skills (Pivot Tables, Lookups, etc)Excellent written and oral communication skillsEducation and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Business / Accounting / Finance6+ years’ experience in a revenue accounting role as a senior revenue analyst or manager level in applying ASC 605 / 606 guidance in publicly traded high technology companiesPractical experience navigating general accounting functions in large ERPPay Transparency
If provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically.
For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S.
Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
