Neurology Physician

URGENT LOCUM- Tele Neurology

We need coverage Mon-Fri starting on 12 / 2. The site will look at providers with any availability but the more the better. Locums will require temp privileges which can be completed within a couple of days of individual completing online application.

We integrate our team virtually with local facility staff including radiologists, hospitalists, pharmacists, nurses, and therapists for ongoing collaboration for admitted patients, aiming to keep care local, minimize length of stay and prevent unnecessary transfers. Exams include most neurological diagnoses (sub-acute, some limited scope with telepresentation exam capability).

Non-emergent admitted patients only (facility has emergent teleneurology service available). No curbside consults. Exams conducted with compliant, secure bi-directional video session. Portal training (web-based) for assignment of case referrals and VCDH case encounter data. Along with baseline PHI of patients needing to be rounded on.

This is a fully remote position, CA licensure required and state license where physician is performing care from. Equipment will be sent to the provider.
