Acupuncturist Part-Time

The Part-Time Acupuncturist, in the field of integrative health and medicine reaffirms the importance of the relationship between practitioner and patient, focuses on the whole person, is informed by evidence, and makes use of all appropriate therapeutic approaches, healthcare professionals and professions to achieve optimal health and healing. Simply put, integrative health and medicine offer best practices for optimal health and healing. The Acupuncturist will provide acupuncture services to a variety of clients who suffer from conditions that are amenable to treatment with this modality. In addition to direct service delivery, the person in this position is also responsible for documenting the services provided, as well as communication with referral sources and other treating providers as needed.

Must be able to work every other Saturday.

Varied hours for this position based on patient care needs (20 hours / week) , Monday - Friday, including every other Saturday.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required : 1. Master's Degree. 2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Acupuncturist. 3. Formal training in acupuncture and completion of a professional educational program in a clinical health care specialty. 4. Experience working in a multidisciplinary setting. 5. Demonstrates a good understanding of holistic healthcare and integrative medicine . 6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 7. Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and / or Google Suite platforms. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred : Licenses and Certifications Required : 1. New Jersey Licensed Acupuncturist.
