You should be confident on boats, comfortable outdoors, and ready to participate actively in field activities. This position involves early mornings, often starting at 6 AM, to join cleanup crews and produce engaging content that highlights our impact.
Overview :
We are looking for a passionate Social Media Manager to lead strategy, content creation, and community engagement for a mission-driven organization focused on environmental impact and consumer engagement. This role combines strategic social media leadership with hands-on content production across ecommerce and B2B partnerships.

Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies for ecommerce and partnership channels
- Grow brand presence on platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube
- Create scalable content series to boost engagement, sales, and lead generation
- Stay updated on platform trends and best practices
Content Creation & Field Engagement
Plan, script, film, edit, and publish short-form video and multimedia contentParticipate in field operations (often early mornings) to capture authentic, mission-focused storiesWork comfortably outdoors, on boats, and in dynamic environmentsDevelop real-time content that showcases our hands-on impactCommunity Engagement & Growth
Manage community interactions including DMs, comments, tags, and mentionsCollaborate with ambassadors, partners, and field teams to amplify messagingMonitor sentiment and provide insights for ongoing optimizationPerformance & Reporting
Track KPIs such as impressions, engagement, conversions, and follower growthUtilize analytics tools to inform creative strategiesCoordinate with leadership on executive visibility and thought leadership contentCollaborate with internal teams (marketing, ecommerce, partnerships, leadership) to align social media effortsManage freelance designers, editors, and other content partnersLead creative direction for campaigns, storytelling, and cross-functional initiativesIdeal Profile :
3+ years experience in social media management and digital content creationProficiency in video editing and design tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express, or similarComfortable working outdoors, on boats, and in travel-intensive environmentsExperience with e-commerce, purpose-driven brands, or social impact initiatives is a plusStrong project management skills; highly organized and self-motivatedThrives in startup or multifaceted environmentsPassionate about sustainability, conservation, or social impact workCompensation :
