Electrical Design Engineer

Sr. Electrical Design Engineer-

Location : Addison, TX-onsite work only Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team in the aviation industry. This position will be responsible for the electrical and development of prototype and production units covering an entire cycle from concept / detailed design to manufacturing release products and systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Carry out detailed electrical design work including analog, digital, schematic capture, PCB layout, testing & verification, & manufacturing release.
• Responsible for performing design validation and testing, including highly accelerated life testing (HALT), environmental qualification testing (DO-160G), etc.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation including HALT summaries, test procedures, qualification test reports, etc.
• Take an electrical lead on specific projects following department processes and standards and ensure the design meets customer and functional requirements.
• Conceive, research, and implement engineering design changes yielding improvements in manufacturability and robustness in coordination with sustaining engineering team.
