  • A strong work ethic
  • A kind and gentle approach to grooming
  • Prior experience working as a pet stylist
  • Proficient scissoring, clippering, and dematting skills
  • Ability to groom to breed standard and / or client request
  • A willingness to learn new and up-to-date grooming methods
  • Ability to NOT make a doodle look like a poodle (wink)
  • A sense of humor
  • Exceptional time management and customer service skills

    • Groomers who can complete at least four haircuts and two baths a day have the potential to earn upwards of $85,000 a year in commission.
