Job Title : MS / Tele Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : MS / Tele Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 Hours Experience : 2 Years Required License : Valid State License Required Certifications : BLS Required, ACLS Preferred Must-Have : Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. Weekend coverage required - every other weekend. Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity as needed. Description : Seeking an MS / Tele Registered Nurse for night shifts. Experience with adults only is required. The role requires telemetry and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Management of dysrhythmias is also needed. Candidate will be part of a busy telemetry unit with a daily census of 32. Patient ratios will be 5 patients per nurse during shifts. The unit sees various patient diagnoses, including diabetes, congestive heart failure, infection, sepsis, COPD, and general surgeries. Special procedures include a wide range of surgical cases. Candidates should be familiar with using telemetry monitoring and related equipment. The workload includes managing various lines, feeding tubes, and maintaining IVs.
