What You´ll Do

  • Manage and / or assist with all transaction audits, internal and external.
  • Manage and / or assist with special projects or business inquiries, including research and planning projects and assist with acquisitions, divestitures and integrations as they relate to sales and use taxes.
  • Assist in the management of all U.S., Canadian and Puerto Rican transaction tax returns.
  • Improve the efficiency of the reporting and compliance processes and manage the Vertex tax systems and its integration with the SAP financial system.
  • Management of Canadian sales tax and VAT return filings and input tax credits.
  • Manage and control use tax accrual process.
  • Conduct reviews of G / L, business activities and transactions to determine tax treatment.

What makes you a good fit

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting CPA / CMI or Masters in Tax preferred
  • 7 years of large corporate sales and Use tax experience (with large manufacturer preferred)
  • Solid sales & use tax technical skills
  • Expert knowledge of Vertex O series
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work independently and in a team

  • The salary for this role is $125,000.00 - $140,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
