Description :
This position is for a backfill contract RN in a medical-surgical / telemetry unit.
The shift is from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM.
No call is required.
General Information :
The unit has 30 beds and a staff of 60.
Staff includes day shift and night shift roles.
Patient ratios are set at 1 : 5.
Type of equipment utilized includes vital sign monitors, electronic workstations on wheels, Hoyer lifts, PCA pumps, and virtual sitters.
The EMR system in use is Meditech.
Candidates without the required skills will not be considered for this role.
Preferred qualifications include ACLS certification.
The ideal candidate will be team-oriented and self-motivated.
The dress code consists of navy scrubs, and certain piercings are not allowed.
The unit is recognized for multiple awards and staff achievements based on positive patient feedback.
Consideration for this unit includes the use of new equipment and technology, along with the tenure and experience of the staff.
